Did you know that families who receive food stamps cannot get
toilet paper, deodorant, soap, dish or laundry detergent,
diapers or toothpaste with their stamps? These things are not
edible so they do not qualify for food stamp purchases. HHPC has
many people who ask if they will be getting toilet paper with
their food or if we have any laundry detergent. If you're ever
wondering what you should buy for the food shelf, these items
are always in need.
